so the first timers had their first game tonight. as well they had their first WIN. way to go guys ... and girls!!! 1/3 of our team are females. thats soo cool.

and ... i scored once. and got two assists. so that's three points in the bin for me. and NO penalties. like holy crap. NO PENALTIES ... wtf mate? thats UNHEARD of for me ... considering I have like 60 PIM in like 23 games. lol ... whatevers. anyways thought i just let everyone know that our team, captained by the infamous ashley_k_smyth ... has won their first of many (six to be honest) games. waiting for lynn ... later.

so i got my second interview today. woot. of course, with the excellent services of co-op ... aka co-pop or co-poop ... they give me a grand total of 24 hours to prepare for the damn interview. now thats what i call planning. isn't university supposed to teach us about planning ahead and all that stuff. yet they themselves procrastinate worse then 99% of the student population. i just dont get it. hypocrites....

anyways, i must apologize that the comments have blown up again. damnit, why is there not a good comments site that can succesfully give my followers satisfaction of commenting for more then ONE month at a time. blogspeak died. haloscan is die-ing ... will prolly be dead soon. pisses me off sorta. i must apologize once again. btw, joel tells me comments are back up. so ignore this paragraph here.

i woke up at 8:30 this morning for some strange reason. i really dont know why. but i did. so i sat around and did nothing as usual. btw, today i need to do some work. what work exactly is that? i have no idea. will figure that out later .... anyways, i am off.

so what do i wake up to this morning? NO not my regular alarm at 9am. my damn phone making crazy noisies. what did i think? i thought "damnit, it's 730 in the morning WHY are you text messaging me?? go way" ... and it went away. but i couldn't get back to sleep. so i decided to read it. all it says is "SNOW DAY" ... from from best friend joel.

joel, if you are my best friend WHY DID you wake me up at 730am to tell me this??

secondly, snow day??? double-yew tee eff mate? there is like an (that's ONE) INCH of snow. in calgary our doors used to be blocked and we'd climb out our windows to go to school. i don't get it. but really I am not complaining, 1/3 of my classes are on Tuesday, the gods must like me ... and joel (since we have similar schedules ... and by similar I mean we have the same one).

so whaddya know, i check www.uwaterloo.ca and it is indeed a snow storm. and jen's class is cancelled too. i bet she's happy ....

actually i am sorta glad. my hrm prof would bore me. although now joel and I don't get to see kate. so i mean that's a shame. but i can deal.

anyways, i am going back to bed to wake up to an un-godly hour....

aside from joel being hit on by random people on his blog ... nothing is new. well sorta. some important things of the day:

so what's happening this week? well jen (and you know which one) is coming to visit me. so that is the highlight of my week ... more like weekend ... as she will be here saturday. yay for that.

friday night going to see 'the mudmen' ... now i never listened to these guys, but i downloaded ... i mean bought ... some of their songs and they are pretty decent.

So if you don't know, I like punk music, and I dig the irish tunes, especially when they are punked out. and these guys do a good job of punk and bagpipes. which is really scottish but it tickles the same fancy that the irish music does. so i am going to that. and seriouslly, for 5 bucks ... how can you go wrong??

ohh and lynn the pynn-head is coming down too ... i asked her to come to that. and lynn is cool and by cool, i mean punk cool. we have a lot in common. i.e. our music. and we both think that there is no better of a time then going and drinking beer and listening to some good punk'd out irish music, now is there lynn??

although i feel bad. i don't think the punk/irish music tickles joels fancy soooo much. too bad joel ... anywho ... time for me to uhhhhh ... sleep?

so like i have a few things to bitch about. so we went to the bomber tonight. thats one of our on-campus bars. it was pretty good. i mean after my first pitcher, smirnoff showed up and was giving away free drinks, so i jumped on that and had 5. one per customer my ass... lol. and i got some free blinky lights. kick ass. anyways, the end of the story is I had too much to drink, I didn't want to ... but shit happens, eh?

So Joel and I decided to take ride safe. which is a service UW offers to get us home safely. and joel lives far away, and colin was drunk so it seemed like a good idea. so we signed up. about 5 minutes later some dude with a some 80s haircut came and asked us to gve up our space and be "gentlemen" and let a lady take our place. how about NO? i mean joel and I have given up our places before, we did it then ... but this is now. especially with colin being under the influence. this guy bitched at us for a while, and in the end he KNEW joel and I had every right to be there, so he gave up.

so he DID bitch at us ... and I told him "hey we pay for this service, i am drunk. i prolly wouldn't make it home safe, so this is very legitimate." he totally didn't agree ... BUT the other dude (who actually drove us) did. anyways, on the way out the door, that bitch guy yelled "have a nice ride home" at joel and I ... I ignored home since he licked balls ....

so on the ride home, we found out that his gf needed a ride home ... and she was sitting in between joel and I ... i felt like saying "yer boyf sucks balls" ... but didn't for obvious reasons. i hate this reverse racism shit. i am not joking. i have heard about MORE guys getting beat up/raped/hasseled on the way home then some females, so totally RIDESAFE knows they can't discrimnate ... so why would Joel and I let them??

anyway .... my point of this story IS ridesafe is for the needy. and the drunk are needy. not some stupid bitch whose boyf runs the turn-key desk. i swear if i run into that guy, he is gonna eat it ... and i mean it! well, i reckon I better be off to bed.

so today started off with me throwing a big snowball at this car that was speeding down the street. stupid cars speeding that make me mad....

anyways, went to two classes, got bored ... did a crossword instead. after that spent an hour finishing up my last assignment for the week and then home.

what have i done at home? nothing what-so-ever. i played my smashing game where i smash lots of stuff with this big green dude ... aka the hulk. it is fun. i played guitar for a while, prolly driving my room mates nuts, but meh...

now joel is over. we are going to have dinner soon, i think/hope. cuz i am sorta hungry. ohh and i need a beer. does joel need a beer? yes he does. we need beer. ok beer has been gotten, opened and the drinking has begun. weeeeee.

did i ever tell you how refreshing a beer is? well it is.

so like i am sitting in the MC (for you non-uw students that the mathematics and computing bulding) ... and needless to say i am on a computer, a very crappy one at that. anywho. not much been going on lately aside from joel's cell phone being malacious, a bunch of work that needs doing, some being a big green dude smashing stuff to shit, and of course talking to the "her" in the above quote.

so i honestly have no idea where monday and tuesday went, and most of wednesday. if anyone knows, would they be so kind as to tell me.

well some interesting things have happened. there was a brief ice fight between me and one of my room mates yesterday. that was sorta fun while it lasted, but could have been a pain in the ass due to the fact that there was ice everywhere, but thats beside the point because we didn't clean up anything.

well i have a quiz soon, so i reckon i best get studying for that. so i will talk to you all later. have a good day.

so the weekend is over. i am sitting here on joels computer consulting with him. about to have a beer hopefully. ohh there's the beer. so now i am intoxicating myself. no not really. just having a beer and hanging out. why because i want to. and there is no better reason for that.

anyways, i went to toronto this weekend. and i saw jen and took her out for dinner. it was nice, we went to "by the way cafe" which apparently is a happening place to take girls out (says robin, my landlord/friend). and so saturday i went to my team's hockey game, and yes i played and YES we won. you think I would go all the way to toronto to loose? well, i mainly went for jen, but the hockey was just an additive. so i my stats for the game were 0G 1A 4 PIM and I played about half the game. I got a tripping penalty. it was dumb. and the second penalty was for high sticking. what a load of shit. the guy was like 4 foot nothing, and like i am 6.4 and so the guy came up to my knees, so i like knocked him in the face. what a load of shit i say. pisses me off. then i went home and had a HUGE dinner and drank and played board games, and of course talked to jen :D

and then sunday, jen came over, and we made a big big big ... and i mean big breakfast for my two room mates from fall 03, jen, and i. it was stu-fucking-pendous. maybe i like her, eh? I THINK SO!

anyways my friends. i need to like talk to joel. i hope everyone had a good weekend. i had a great one!

so anything else of interest happen in my life as of late? not really to be honest. i've been sooo damn busy its not even funny. like with school work mainly. and now applyinf for jobs, and don't forget jen. she alone takes up a considerable amount of time. but that of course is very much okay with me! (not sure if my grades will agree, but that remains to be seen.

and just for the record. all debts have been paid off that were owed to me, by joel.

so i must apologize for being a blog lackey for the past few days. but i have been quite busy as of late. what with you may ask?? well the answers will be revealed somewhere in this blog. i mean it's not gonna be cryptic or anything, so i am sure you acn figure it out.

first of all, tonight will be only the second night since i have been in waterloo that i have not gone out. where have i been going? everywhere and anywhere. and also i have a ton of work to do. and also there is this girl named jen in my life.

speaking of jens. my mom's name is jennifer, and two of my room mates are named jennifer, and my significant other is named jennifer. holy crap. talk about jennifer over load, eh?

well joel and i had a few good nights. one really excellent one at the bomber, and then another at a house party. other then that, it's just been alright ... y'know the regular hanging out and stuff. it's been good.

and i am brushing my teeth right now ... yes i have ADD

and 2A has a lot of work. crazy cs profs. we have assignments that are worth 0% of out final grade, unless we don't do them. if we don't do them we get -4% ... how dumb, eh? grrr. soo many assignments in that course.

so i really have no idea where all my time has gone. i mean i go to class, i study some, i sleep, i go out, and i talk to jen a lot. ohh and i do all those other necessities like eating and stuff.

anyways, i need to read "managing human resources" now so i am off. enjoy!
