current song: finnegan's wake - dropkick murphys
current mood: work reporting ... again
stupid one piece 230 dollar hockey sticks
so last night my one piece (piece-of-shit) ccm vector shattered. it's true. those things are crappy. MINE broke when i was passing a puck. a PASS? so the vector is priced at $230, i paid $100. but the guy i got it from is giving me a new stick. so it's not that big of a deal.
and work reporting continues. such a boring process. my report is in excess of 3000 words and i still haven't written 3 parts to it: exec summary, conclusions and these one other section. i am going to make it long to make work-report-marker-dude suffer in hell because he is lucky to have a job! (i.e. if it wasnt for co-op and work reports, he would be a bum)
mmm cookies ... i really could go for a coffee or something, i am falling asleep here.
ok work reporting time. ciao.

what a fuct up world we live in
i saw master and commander: the far side of the world last night. it was a pretty good film, i enjoyed it. it was very graphic tho and explicit. it was a good time tho. it was weird. some chick sitting next to us had a seizure (or something like this) so half way thru the movie 5 paramedics come rolling in with a stretcher and stretcher-ed her out of the theatre. and on the way out they gave us a free movie ticket, so it's two-for-one and i only paid 9.25 for the movie anyways. kick ass. on movie notes, i am going to see pirates of the caribbean this saturday for 3 dollars ... for the third time. i told you before i love this movie, so why not! any takers wanna come?
i think i will go see the last samurai with my free movie ticket too.
today was a hectic day, tvs not working, teachers needing laptops and me being late to bring them, teachers swearing up and down at me, teachers giving me lip, and kids just being the regular pain in the asses. i need a vacation. oooo wait 3 weeks left... yeee haw (yes that's right i am an albertan and proud of it!)
i need to go christmas shopping for the parentals (and my sister too)... but i have no idea what to get them. so i figure i will just go to the mall and walk around until i find something that suffices, well not suffices, but something i think they will like. bah...
what's with this violence against women stuff? i mean violence against men is just violence. wtf is going on with this world? its like univeristy of waterloo is allowed to have the asian students society but the white students society would not be allowed. NOT that i want to have a white students society in particular. but just the morality behind it.
ooo yah ... other IMPORTANT news in the newspaper this morning... people are complaining that the terms 'master' and 'slave' (referring to IDE controllers on a computer) are unacceptable and offensive. somebody filed a discrimination report. A DISCRIMINATION REPORT ON A FUCKING COMPUTER PART! discrimination against what really, a computer? what a crock of shit, eh?
what is this stupid world coming to?
colin go smash world.
anyways, enough rambling...

current song: hit that - the offspring (from their new album splinter)
6-2 over west mall
sorry ashley i didn't get a goal, but i got two or three assists. i was NOT on the ice for their two goals. but i was on the ice for 3 or 4 of our goals. i had a good game. i knocked some big 250 lb kid on his ass three times. so we are moving up in the standings. our last 5 games we are: 3-1-1. so we gotta keep this going...
word of the day: cisdussed (there's dyslexia for you)
mental note: never become a teacher; kids are dumb
first draft of work report is all finished up. well over 3000 words. so i need to cut down on some stuff. back to edititiititititing for me....

current song: finnegan's wake - dropkick murphys
my irish roots are coming out
so lat night, joel, lynn and I went to some irish pub. (note pitchers cost 17 dollars). but the band kicked some ass. and we drank enough before going out. so anyways the band was obviously an irish band, from montreal. the salty dogs. pretty good i must admit. after a few of my excellent suggestions, the place got going pretty well. some of my fav irish (ok not all irish, but close enough from canada) jives: mary mac, drunken sailor, 500 miles, spirit of the west, finnegan's wake, and home for a rest. classics i must add, but played live with a good band, they kick even more. anyways, we had a few pitchers and whipped out the irish jigs. note: lynn and i like punk, but somehow we pulled it off. joel, well i don't what he listens to. rap rock everything i guess. but there is a lot of irish punk, i.e. dropkick murphy's. anyways, i had a great night. i hope lynn and joel did as well. 'taws a memorable night. too bad ashley didn't come, she missed out
here is one of the choruses from a song, so say these reallllllly fast.
Mary Mac's father's making Mary Mac marry me
My father's making me marry Mary Mac
Gona marry Mary for my Mary to take care of me
We'll all be feeling merry when I marry Mary Mac
while i was gone, my room mates decided to drink my LAST beer and my whisky. bastards. very annoying.
anyways, dinner and bed.

current song: watching "that 70s show"
current mood: chilling with joel
weekend galore
the bus ride down was an uncomfortable one. it was too hot, and the seat was made for someone not my size, so very uncomfortable i must say.
so joel and i are chilling in ottawa. good times. went out to a couple pubs with him and ashley last night. she's a pretty cool chick (opps i am not allowed to call her a chick, but she's cool nonetheless). so i went to my first watpub. mental note: waterloo events suck. never go. there was this really loud kid named joel and he was really loud and annoying. i just wanted to knock his teeth out. so i just talked to the cool joel and ashley. we left that place pretty quick, after one beer to be exact.
we went to this other pub, what it was called i do not know. but it was like the never ending pub. it just went on forever and ever and ever and ever. i think you get the point. and they had this really good band, i thought. a tad loud. but had acoustic guitar, acoustic bass, pianists, and fiddlists. what it is about irish music, i dont know. must be my irish roots or something, but i like it. nothing like sitting around having a few and listening to some celtic music.
plans for tonight? well in the immortal words of ashley, we will fly by the seat of our pants. whatever that really means. but lynn is coming so that should be good. she's a unique one. a real punk-girl which is cool, cuz i am punk-guy. anyways, ashley should be there, so it will be a not typical-waterloo night. more anon...
have good rock smashing...

joel reminded me of crazy drivers. well one moring i was walking by a side street, and i was carrying a small bag with my skates, glove, and half helmet and my stick. there were no cars on the street so i started to cross. i was almost across and a fucking car hits me. not hard, but i fell on his car. i stood up, we exchanged stares, and he started to drive off. what an asshole, but don't worry. i didn't let him get away with that. remember i had a hockey stick. anyone know what a "two hander" is? well, you put both hands on the stick and use it in a baseball bat like motion. well i did this to his car. really, i was more worried about hurting my hockey stick then his stupid car. he didn't bother to stop. asshole ...
current song: no music playing now ...
current mood: i am supervising a bunch of high school students, whaddya think?
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
so it's friday. this is good. and i am going to ottawa this weekend, this is also good. what else is good? nothing. i am hungry, a tad tired, and bored. every friday morning from 8-9 i have to supervise these kids. and there is nothing to do in here, 'cept throw them out when they are bad. which NONE of them are being today. so sucks for me. why can't one kid just be playing a game, instead they are all working.
it's actually funny. if i get up and walk around to see what's on their screens, some of them figit really quickly and press Alt + Tab to try and hide something. They must think I am dumb or something. Am I really that dumb? Am I? I didn't think so. But then they play all innocent, and I am like "bye". damn kids.
So it's serious work report time so I actually get a vacation this December. Of course, I will be doing some work on it there, but most shall be done here. And then I will get some English teachers to read it for me. No more comma crap like last time.
so who listens to waterloo radio? i sure don't ... yet we get charged for it. wait, who listens to the radio period?
well, i am hoping this weekend is going to be a good one. actually, i know it's going to be a good one.
well, i must be off.
adieu

ashleys, candy bars, and being a pirate
yesterday, i spoke with this subject to a fine young lady, and whaddya know she was named ashley. i mean, what is with me and girls named ashleys? like is there something about the name ashley that gets me going? (in case you are wondering, i seem to have an infatuation with girls named ashley). i am curious about this. last night i had a dream that i get into the guiness book of world records for "Dating the most number of people with the same name". i know, i got it. all ashleys must be really good looking. i will just leave it at that for now, any ideas?
mmmm pudding ... and sesame snaps (i am addicted to this things)
lazy days kick ass. i am having one today. like ashley has bad hair days and all these other types of crazy days, i am officially the king of lazy days. (that was weird, my boss is talking to me, and at the same time i typed "officially" he said it, weird). from this day forth, every day is a lazy day for me. who's with me?
i have recently come to the realisation that if i could go back in time, i would go back to the pirate days. in case you don't know, i love the movie pirates of the caribbean and any pirate movie really... but pirates of the caribbean is my favorite by far. i know it's just a movie, but i know what its like just to travel around, rape, pillage and plunder. just kidding about the raping, pillaging and plundering. did you know that pillage and plunder means the same thing? weird, eh? you might as well be saying i am going to eat some dinner, have a nap, then go to sleep. but nonetheless, i wanna be a mighty pirate like guybrush threepwood (let me know if you actually get this, otherwise google up "The Curse Of Monkey Island"). if you have seen pirates of the caribbean, then you remember when captain sparrow and elizabeth were stuck on the island, and the whole "why is the rum gone?" bit, well, a girl asked me to re-inact this scene with her this xmas on the beach, her being elizabeth, me being jack, and she said elizabeth would be MORE open to other things. and we all know what happens with alcohol and such. oddly enough, this girls name is ashley. crazy, eh? should be good ... BUT WHY IS THE RUM GONE?
i was just reminded of a funny line ... and no, i do not want to be that kind of pirate ... referring to a butt-pirate that is... lol

current song: vacuum bag - stroke 9
this is in response to joel's "alarm beating" in his blog...
so if you don't know, i hate mornings. and the alarm clock will vouch for that. i have tried many things, like placing the alarm clock on the other side of the room, but that doesnt work.
so i just kept the thing beside my bed, and every morning the hand comes down and smacks it till it shuts up. and i would never get up. lately, i started put it under the bed. so i had this natural reaction to start smacking beside the bed. but that didn't work. so i would have to find the damn thing. usually just grab a cord and yank it, then smack.
well this morning, at 5:40 i smacked it good and hard, and it wouldn't shut up. so i picked it up and tossed it, but not hard enough as it landed next to me, still going "beepy beepy spaz" mood. so the next time i really hurled the fucker ... and now i need a new alarm clock for sure.

current song:i love my computer - bad religion
current mood:meh ... i'm tired
say so'n'blah blah
so i didn't go coach the kids this morning. 5:40 is just way to god damn early for me to get getting up (that makes no sense, but its still early). i actually woke up, and i was like "its dark out, men (and women too, cant forget those females, i dunno what I WOULD DO WITHOUT THEM!?) is supposed to sleep in dark." so i slept in til 7:35. which is too late for me to be getting up, meh. also, i have a practice tonight for my own team at 1015. which is late enough for me. imagine going from dark to dark. who invented this day light savings crap anyways? i hate it. it gets dark too early, and its too dark in the morning. i'm moving to mexico where the days are the same all year round.
so i am going to ottawa this weekend
i think hoel (aka joel) needs to get his priorities straight. he was bitching at me last night about how he wanted to play his stupid SNES game. fuck off man, whether you answer my question or start playing nintento right away is not going to kill you. well maybe it is. actually it prolly is. haha ... here is how joel and i studied for exams over the summer:
after 30 minutes studying, joel: "break time!" *proceeds to open computer and play super mario*
after an hour break, colin: "food time!" *we then proceed to make teriyaki chicken or go to cafe and waste more time*
back to studying, for oooohhh i'd say 10 minutes before it's another break time.
speaking of super mario, i beat it for joel. bah .. that's right there were like 3 secrets that he didn't have that i got for him. your welcome.
i am getting pissed at hoemail (it's what joel and i call hotmail). it's such crap. first off, it doesnt work from 4-6pm anyday. and for their generally crappy (let alone non-existent) HELP. and why can't they hire some poor people to read the subject line of ALL emails, and if it says viagra, horny girls, or anything of such a nature. delete it. poor people can read, and they are poor. they will work for nothing.
speaking of hiring people, what's with these see-and-eye dogs. how about see-and-eye midgets. every blind dude gets a midget that follows him around. it would be so much easier to communicate. (i heard this on comedy channel).
so i spoke with ashley , i wanna say chick, but according to her she's not a chick. but like i told her, i call everyone of the female influence a chick. so to ashley, sorry for calling you a chick. anyways, her and her friends are going to have a hockey team this winter in waterloo, and i am going to play with them. apparently, they are good skaters, but dont know how to used that curved stick thingy. frankly, i think they could kick my ass. i only been playing hockey for 4 years, and them 16 ... shit. but we both play AAA and i play full contact, so we'll see who gets their asses kicked. wait, there is a whole team of them and one of me. awww fek.

current song: sweet & sour of a knife - pistol grip
current mood: i wanna be hockey-ing (thanks joel for that!)
#insert creative title here#
so the high school hockey team i coach had a game today, an exhibition game. and well, they surprised the hell outta me. way to go guys! (none of them know this blog site exists). but we lost. but that doesn't matter one bit. all the conditioning that i did with them paid off. kick ass ...
so tonight is the first night in like 2 weeks that i am actually going to have a proper dinner, and it is gonna be a good one. speaking of dinner i better go cook it. oo wait, i'll do this first. but you have to comment... deal? i heard a yes ... cool ...
offspring tickets. hopefully i will have exclusive tickets to their exclusive concert in toronto on december 1st. i hope. offspring has some good shows. only been to one, but it was good. anyone wanna go to it with me?
i think joel's having a prugh (aka rough if you can spell) day. i am sorry joel. joel had to work the entire say (he's got it rough). and this chick named ashley (joel's friend who i don't know) keep making fun of joel for killing kittens. which NO BODY gets cept the three of us. and ashley doesn't know who i am, so that makes one of you, joel i am sorry big guy.
things that piss me off:
1.) getting up in the morning
2.) doing laundry
3.) emptying dishwashers (although i am grateful i have a dishwasher)
3.) having two number threes in my list
4.) stupid people who have stupid lists of things that piss them off
5.) making dinner which has to be made so i will talk to you later...
ohh yah, the fucking dog chewed it's bed to pieces and like it's not my dog so i'll be damned if i am going to clean up the fuzzy shit which is all over this house ... hell no.
oo yah, and i now know ashley so everybody say "hi ashley" ...
current mood: i wanna be hockey-ing (thanks joel for that!)

1.) getting up in the morning
2.) doing laundry
3.) emptying dishwashers (although i am grateful i have a dishwasher)
3.) having two number threes in my list
4.) stupid people who have stupid lists of things that piss them off
5.) making dinner which has to be made so i will talk to you later...
ohh yah, the fucking dog chewed it's bed to pieces and like it's not my dog so i'll be damned if i am going to clean up the fuzzy shit which is all over this house ... hell no.
oo yah, and i now know ashley so everybody say "hi ashley" ...
current song: save yourself (such a depressing song, brings back memoires from tartu)
current mood: thinking cap is on ... work reporting
unbeaten streak has been beaten. damn.
so yeh, we lost last night. not that great of a deal. last four games we went 2-1-1 (for all you not knowing hockey, or any sport. 2-1-1 means 2 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie). which is NOT bad.
well, i am busy work reporting right now, whilst (is that a word?) joel continues to be dazzled by "beepy beepy spaz mode". quite an interesting concept "beepy beepy spaz mode" really is. moving on...
speaking of moving. i need to steal a truck to move to waterloo this winter. damn not having a car to hell.
i am stoked about dec. 19. i get to have a vacation. i love vacation. i mean, who doesn't??
well this is short, but i am off...

current song: murder the government - nofx
current mood: damn i hate mondays
unbeaten in 3 games pathetically that's a record for my hockey team this year. and hopefully we will continue that to 4 tonight.
so jessiWAHca came to my game last night. she didn't want to be because she thought she'd be lonely. but no. there was plenty of excitement in that game to keep her going, i think. cept when i sat in the sin bin (aka penalty box) for a while. stupid delay of game penalty. that ref was crap-o-la i tell ya!
anyways, after the game she came over and we had a few drinks and chatted for quite a while. it was good. thanks for coming by jess.
why are girls such a pain? come on, seriouslly. such a pain. some of them drive me completly nuts. i won't mention any specifics tho due to the great number of people that read this, PLEASE sense my sarcasm in that line. but not all girls are a pain. some just get right down to business. if something needith being said, it will be said. others (who piss me off) people just play a two faced game, which just pissed me off (this goes for guys too, although I find males are generally more direct, but not always). speaking of two face, i watched batman returns this weekend. val kilmer is the worst batman ever. michael keaton should return. back to two faces? man, i have A.D.D. or something....
joel has just told me that there is an exemplary number of HOT girls out on sundays. first off, they must be terrible christians, but who am i to talk, right? people think univeristy weeks start on a thursday? well let me tell you, university weekends don't end. sara can vouch for me on this one. especially on some particular wednesday night where tom kept pouring beers down my throat. but live and learn my friends, that is all i can say.
current song: the hell song - sum41
i must say, this song is fun to jam to on the guitar ...
"suddenly, suddenly i dont feel so insecure"
there is so much more that has to be said right now. but it just can't be said. and WHY? you may ask ... well to be honest i just don't know. there is a lot going on right now, and at the same time I am completly satisfied with the status quo. so why do anything? well because I AM not the only one that matters. but i don't know what these other crazy kids (thanks tom) are wanting/needing. so i think there is a serious lack of communication between some of us.
well, i have bloggered (like blabberd) on for long enough. in that i leave you with this:
Choose Life.
Choose a job.
Choose a career.
Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage.
Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourself.
Choose your future.
Choose life.

current song: baby, i'm an anarchist - against me!
current mood: feelin' lazy
a wedding, 4 alcoholics, and a few "2-8"s. bad combination. no wait, it was great. so this weekend one of my childhood friend's mom got married. and alcoholics? well, my buddy, his two friends and I started drinking on Saturday at noon. yes, before the wedding had even started I had injested 4 beers. and by the end of the night we went through a few "2-8"s. which is a 2-4 + 4 extra beers. needless to say by the end of the night, i was tired. so after 17 beers at the wedding we headed out.
got back to my buddy's place around 5:30-6:00. threw a lasagna in the oven. whilst, i was sitting on the couch and a cat jumped on me, at the same time, joel decided to text message me with a very important message "i am going to eat now". and the phone vibrated, and the cat went 30 feet straight up in the air. that was cool. (btw, joel thanks for telling me you were going to eat!) checked it (the lasagna that is) 30 minutes later, and it was still a frozen block of ice (i think maybe the oven was NOT on). so i told my buddy i am going to sleep. wake me up for dinner. man was that the best sleep ever...
after dinner we went for the wedding after party, which involved the 4 of us sitting in a basement watching tv and drinking more beers, ordering pizza, after that we played NHL 2002. the game went on for about 12 overtime periods with a measly score of 0-0. eventually alex tanguay scored for me. then we finally going to bed at some god for saken time.
all in all, a lot of inotixcants were drank (drunk?), and memories were remorsed. and good times were had. what else could a bunch of kids ask for? well i had a good weekend.
what did i learn? weddings, alcoholics and and superfluous amounts of booze = great times ... thanks phil!
this just proves the stupidity of men. (or perhaps just ME). i walked into the drug store to buy some shampoo. promptly looked at the aisle signs and walked down the "shampoo" aisle. looked at the shelf for the red tags. which is the stuff on sale. and i looked at the bottom of the shelf (generally where the cheap stuff is). i saw a bottle for 2.50. i bought it. next morning, i woke up. was having a shower, and i was wondering why this damn shampoo wasn't being shampoo-like. finally, i picked up the bottle and it was conditioner.
so here are some of the latest words that have been accepted into the jolin dictionary.
ok, well i need to find some food. and then i have to go hockey-ing a lil later. hopefully our team can continue our winning streak! yes i am sure we can!

current song: give up the grudge - gob
current mood: it's friday ... kick ass!
so people are wondering what this blog business is all about? well to tell you the truth i don't even know. all i know is that BLOG comes from web-log ... minus the "w", "e" and the "-". so basically, i write stuff here about what's going on in my life. and you, i.e. lynn and joel (so far), read it. and they now have the option to comment on what i have to say. so anyone else, even if i don't know you and you happen upon my blog, feel free to comment.
well, this weekend should be a good one. although i won't be online til sunday, so you won't get any updates til then. but i am going to missisauga for the weekend. staying with a friend who i grew up with in calgary. his mom is getting re-married, that is the occasion. i am not sure exactly what the plans are, but nonetheless i plan on enjoying the way-too-short-weekend.
current song: we're all dudes - less then jake
btw, you all should download this song.
so does anyone know where 142.150.33.20 is? because it is spamming somehow. damnit. why do i have to deal with this. i get an email from the computer dudes above me saying this machine is spamming. and like there are 300 computers in this building, i am not going to type ipconfig on every single one. damn useless IT people.
who likes vacation? cuz like there is a nice holiday coming up and i am stoked about not having to work anymore.
then again i have to go back to school and be edumacated, and that's usually not fun. cept for $7 moosehead pitchers every wednesday night ... now that's fun.
furthermore, some damn kids just came in and asked for a tv. (i do media and IT). and i asked "what for?" ... they replied so intelligently "to use!" ... no shit ... "to use for WHAT?" ... "for DRD" ... "what the hell is that?" ... "ummm ..." he tried to answer ... "oo is that a nintendo game?" i exclaimed, so he mumbles a bit and he knows he's busted. gifted kids my ass...
ok, some news about this blog. i have two sets of comments running. one of them looks nicer, but it doesn't work. wtf mate? so i got the uglier one going but it has some ads and stuff. sorry about that. will get that working sometime...
current song: united we stand - shift d (todd-from-mech's band)
coffee break, be right back. ok so the highlight of my days are at 1050. when i venture yonder to the staff room and get free cookies and chips.
so i was thinking (yeh i dont do this much) about what is going on in the world today. and thus far, there have been more deaths in the war against iraq since major combat started ... ended ... and still continues in my mind then the FIRST THREE YEARS of the vietnam war? and the americans lost the vietnam war. this is a bad sign in case you haven't noticed. i say bush hands authority over to the iraqi's and lets them have a go with it. i think saddam is long gone anyways. and if he comes back, start blowing shit up again. just my thought ...
if brody reads this, this in response to your unpredictability of life. first off, why worry? like seriouslly don't worry about anything. gotta think about what worrying does for you? nothing. it just pisses you off, depresses you, and makes you sad. so wtf are we worrying for? secondly man, unpredictability is great man. how much would it suck if like you had a list of what's going to happen to you? half the fun is not knwoing what the fuck is going to happen. capitalize on the unpredictability. good shit will come, i am sure...
SCORE, i just found that fucking 142.150.33.20 machine that was spamming. but i can't see that it is doing anything. so i dunno how to resolve the problem. meh ...
well children and friends of all kinds, i have to get back to work. enjoy the weekend...
peace

current song: captain anarchy - anti-flag
current mood: about to eat dinner number 2. any questions?
first off, joel was right. whenever i have nothing better to do, i just blog on my blog. it's very effective...
i re-discovered one of my pet peeves tonight ... i mean don't you just hate it when you put something in the oven, then go watch tv or something and realise one hour later that your food is burnt to shit? fuck that pisses me off...

current mood: i just ate dinner ... could i ask for more? well actually yes but we won't get into that.
this afternoon, i went out for an hour or so. i came back to about 100 new emails. the boss looked at my inbox and said "who is this zimmer? and pogson?" hahaha ... way to go joel and lynn ...

so my boss is having squirrel problems. i was talking with my boss about it over lunch, and he is looking for squirrel traps. he found one. and i asked him "what you going to do with it after you catch it?" ... he replied "i am going to throw it off a 200 m bridge. they can fly can't they?"
