what a profound world we live in.

10 year olds shooting their fathers on custody visits.

toys dipicting airplanes flying onto the world trade center.

the damn disney buses are on fire.

16 year olds being shot in cali.

killer bees and drive bys are killing in texas.

15 year olds robbed for $15, then shot in the back of the head.

shit is just going down.

yet we sit in our homes ... safely. the most of our worries are how much lower our interest rates will get. girls with straight hair spend tens of dollars on getting curly hair, curly haired girls want straight hair. all the damn rich actors and musicians worry about making 29 million dollars instead of 30 million dollars due to piracy. george W is choking on fucking snack food while taking over half the world. one third of americans have high chlorestoral. yet we spend millions of dollars (not canadians, we dont give our athletes shit) to send atheletes to compete in the olympic games. if an athlete wins a gold ... they will most likely be awarded a sponsorship from a major company for millions of dollars.

ok ok ok. so these people are talented. but i am sure there are a lot more talented people who lack the money because they cant even afford to have 3 meals a day.

the truth of the matter is ... we live in a fucked up world. i will admit, i indulge in it myself. yet 'tis sad ... but what can we do? nothing really....

However much I agree that shit is fucked up, I would argue the point that the toy does not, in fact, depict a plane flying into the WTC. The buildings, to my mind, do not look like the WTC, nor do they even look like each other. The plane is attached solely for the purpose of being attached -- there is no collision or explosion.

Take comfort in that I may actually be right, and the world is messed up in one less way than you thought it was.
