current song: finnegan's wake - dropkick murphys
my irish roots are coming out
so lat night, joel, lynn and I went to some irish pub. (note pitchers cost 17 dollars). but the band kicked some ass. and we drank enough before going out. so anyways the band was obviously an irish band, from montreal. the salty dogs. pretty good i must admit. after a few of my excellent suggestions, the place got going pretty well. some of my fav irish (ok not all irish, but close enough from canada) jives: mary mac, drunken sailor, 500 miles, spirit of the west, finnegan's wake, and home for a rest. classics i must add, but played live with a good band, they kick even more. anyways, we had a few pitchers and whipped out the irish jigs. note: lynn and i like punk, but somehow we pulled it off. joel, well i don't what he listens to. rap rock everything i guess. but there is a lot of irish punk, i.e. dropkick murphy's. anyways, i had a great night. i hope lynn and joel did as well. 'taws a memorable night. too bad ashley didn't come, she missed out
here is one of the choruses from a song, so say these reallllllly fast.
Mary Mac's father's making Mary Mac marry me
My father's making me marry Mary Mac
Gona marry Mary for my Mary to take care of me
We'll all be feeling merry when I marry Mary Mac
while i was gone, my room mates decided to drink my LAST beer and my whisky. bastards. very annoying.
anyways, dinner and bed.
