current song: jah work - ben harper
ok so like we have mega comments as of late. which is wayyyy cool. (mostly thanks to katie. but thanks from me go to: lynn, joel, ashley, heather, jen, turtly, marg, hani, and of course me). ohh and sean and vanessa, you are the only two people who never comment on my site. this is why you don't get a thank you. but you read it, so i cant ask for much more. thank you one and all.
so what does colin have to say for the day?? well how about we discuss arts studets. here is something joel and i stumbled upon today. it was a campaign poster for the upcoming (i think they are actually happening) waterloo federation of students elections. and one of the persons points about them was: "volunteer for the faculty of arts and the people with disabilities". and joel so brilliantly pointed out that the faculty of art and the poeple with disabilities are one and the same. thanks joel.
funny people joel and i. we diss arts students all the time, yet most of the people we hang out with are arts students. get that, eh??
anyone wanna hear my valentine's plan?? well first you have to listen to me complain, but really you are reading this so if you dont want to hear ... err read ...me complain, you don't have to. but i think valentine's is such a stupid event. i mean it's there solely because hallmark doesn't sell "st. patrick day" cards. so they need to make money. mind you, i do like buying gifts for people, especially people of the opposite sex, and especially one girl. and we all know who that is. (ps-no, not joel). so i fall into the trap and spend money. after all it's fun to spend money, especially on other people. so why the hell not? cuz stupid hallmark makes ENOUGH. imagine how many xmas cards they sell alone. i am sure ALL OF US could live off that profit. i mean its not like they get hemingway to write their cheesy cards .... so royalties are minimum. anywho ... enough of that. i think i was supposed to say something about what i am doing ... right? well take a guess. it's not that hard if you know anything about me.....
right, joel and i had our first midterm today. piece of cake, really it was. last lecture the prof said this: ok, so the midterm covers 300 pages in the text, although if i were you i might study such-and-such pages. holy crap mister, make it easier, please. i have no complaints, really.
cheap defective waterloo technology is all i have to say. (joel gets it, and prolly thats it. *insert joel laughing*)
so my room mates are ON crack .... the cheap stuff too. nothing like the crack that i smoke. at all ....
who here is proud to be a canadian? i know i for one am. i think it's important. and none of this crap american "we rule the world stuff" ... just plain and simple pride. canadian pride, eh?
and i leave you with this:
senator: "mr gates when did you realise you were creating a monopoly?"
gates: "monopoly is just a game, senator, i'm trying to control the fucking world"
(thanks r.w.)
